2012 Twin Turbo Boss Mustang
I'm the original owner of the car and have done upgrades to it throughout the years. The turbo's were added about 4 years ago and they are running at 7psi which produces about 600rwhp and makes the car a lot of fun to drive.
The difficulty of the install would depend on the kit you went with or if you decide to go with a custom set up.I used the armageddon twin turbo system and on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rank it a 5.The install wasn't easy, but it wasn't super difficult either once I decided to drop the k-member of the car to have full access to the engine bay.The roadrunner engine is extremely wide and changing out the headers and various other items were easier with full access under the car.
welcome to the forum and nice ride!
have you had it out on a road track yet? if yes, how do the turbos perform under sustained heavy throttle / high RPM operation -- any heat related issues?

Bert, it has been to a couple of HPDE's and I made a lot of mod's to help with the heat.Vents in the hood, wrap for all hot piping, custon heat shields for coils/fuel injectors, larger radiator / fan and larger oil pan.
Mustang Freak...nice rr boss btw,how many miles do you have on miss scarlett?

Bert, I haven't run it "full out" for a 20 minute session yet with all of my modifications to date.I usually go about 10 minutes which is enough for me, and the water temp's are fine but the oil temps get to 260-265,so if I was going to go the full 20 minute session I would add an auxiliary oil cooler, the boss already has a stock water to oil cooler that helps but adding an auxiliary air to oil cooler would probably be wise insurance for extended run time.
