^^ Wow Someone finally posted the whole album recently. Me and my buddies rode around for hours in the mountains here, blown out of our minds listening to this album back in the day. I remember tripping so hard on blotter that I wouldn't even get out of the car for 12 hours when we would stop somewhere because I was so freaked out and into the moment. Just wanted to be where I was, it felt safe.

And I was driving. The good ole days, when I could drive a blown Fox body, with a stick, and roll a doobie while tripping all at the same time. #howdidieversurvive. #Iwasamultitasker

LOL

You need to listen to this whole album Evil Capri (Mark?) if you don't have it. Its killer. I'm gonna buy it again right now.

I thought you might. As soon as i heard it i thought of you and that you'd like it. That guy is coming to town soon along with Marc Broussard, Anders Osborne, and Luther Dickinson. Gonna try to go see them.

Sorry for the delayed response, been under the weather, but some Black Grouse Scotch is making me feel a bit better this evening!

All good stuff, thanks for sharing . . . and it's Jason, not Mark!

I think guys named Jason just look like someone else. Had a friend of mine named Jason that I called Mike for about six months before he finally corrected me. Told him he was an ***, and he got pissed at me and asked why, and I said, "because you let me call you Mike for half a year you *******!" At least he laughed about it.

Ya, it wasn't my favorite. I really liked this one too. Going to see her St. Patrick's Day. I can't wait!

Most of their songs are based on local party hangouts and local events. I've actually been fortunate enough to meet them in person away from the music scene. Knew some guys who did the bar scene with them, and spent quite a few hours hanging out with them on a social level. Same with the guys from Pantera and The Nixons. I'm probably one of the few who actually bought a dime bag from Dimebag. Was extremely tight with one of his close friends in a band that didn't make it big, Creeping Jesus (not the Aussie band, local Dallas band in the early 90s).

I have many fond memories of hanging out with bands that played in The Basement. One of the main joys of growing up with people who managed and played in the place. I feel extremely fortunate that I've known such great musicians when they were up and coming bar bands.

I went to college in Irving in 90-91

I thought saw them play once in a club in Deep Ellum but I can't swear to it. A lot of that time was blur.
