A visitor while on the computer

Just minding my own business looking at the Mustang forum this morning when someone peered in our slider. By the tie I got the camera he was heading up our backyard. Geez, now that was different. We have seen bears before, especially going after our bird feeders, but not on our deck.

Hard to tell from a pic Shane, he's in NC and we only have black bears, but I've noticed on travels that our black bears tend to look smaller than the ones out west because they seem to have a longer body length, not so short and squatty unless it's a fat sow that's ready to have babies. Some adaptation I suppose.

But that's all speculation and rambling so pay no attention to it

Just chicken wings. Bears don't like chicken, right?

As Bill Engvall would say, "Here's Your Sign".

Very cool, but also scary to have them that close.
Their sense of smell is 7X greater than a Bloodhound.

He was on the bigger side when against my sliding glass door. I was thinking 150 pounds perhaps. I would guess young adult.

Probably one of last years cubs, may have just left mom recently and starting to explore his own territory.
