Here's Libby. She's an English Lab. We just got her yesterday, and I'm not quite used to her yet. Whenever I pick her up, I expect her to act like a cat.

This is a really nice thread. Kudos for starting it. I have three mutts, a female lab pit mix, a male lab saluki mix and a female lab dalmation mix; all are black. (I'll post a pic if I can get them to stay in the same frame together.)
I agree that pit mixes make for great pets if they are raised properly. They naturally love people but can be dog aggressive if not socialized early on.
Roxy is a beautiful dog and that Great Dane is striking.

Thanks! I'd love to claim some credit for Roxy being cute and well behaved, but she kinda trained herself, she just let me come along for the ride, and I just love her to death. I agree whole-heartedly that pits and pit mixes need training and lots of socialization. That's one place I think I went right, Roxy, Triton and I go to the dog park to play with other dogs all the time.

Post pics of your dogs! Even if you can't get them together. I have a heck of a time getting pictures of Triton just because he's so black he blends in with himself so there's no discernible expression, he's just a black blob...

Nathan, your dog is a little sweetheart! I've never heard of an english lab, but she looks darling.

I had a friend in high school who had a simoyed/husky/wolf mix who marched to the tune of a toy poodle who was in charge of the house! lol

My families two dogs... Dora(she likes to explore) the Lemon Beagle and Phoenix the Lab/Pit mix

Phoenix looks exactly like one of those egyptian dog statues and drawings when she sits straight up with her ears up

That's awesome. We named our pug "Puggles" before we ever heard about the 'Puggle' breed.

Here are my two.
Mitsi is a black lab/terrier mix. Most loving but very co-dependant. Follows us every where we go. Hangs with me in the garage all the time.

And here is Rusty, our Chow/?? mix who is in her favorite spot. She will ride there all day long.

and will sit anywhere!!

This thread has been dead for over 3 years. Time to bring it back to life!

This is Curtis and Zoey. Curtis, on the left is a Pitbull / Boxer mix. Zoey is a Blue Nose Pitbull.
