SVT Performance forum?
 

I tried going over there today and registering. When I clicked the link in the email it brought to the forum but I couldn't post. Then out of no where I tried to vist the forums to read some post and it says I'm BANNED. What the hell, I have never been a member of the site yet this is what comes up:

One or more of your other accounts is currently banned, so you've been rebanned.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

How can I be banned when I have never had am accout?

Any1 know how I can just read the forum post?

you sure your email hasnt been used to create an account on there before? i post on here more than i do SVTP. on SVTP i never leave the pics and videos buffet section.

What can happen is if they banned someone with your IP, they'll see you as trying to reregister (even though you are not the same person)

This can happen if you say try and create an account from work,
and someone that works in the same company/network got banned...

If your company uses NAT/PAT (ip address translation) the forum admin will see the same IP address being used for multiple accounts.
This doesn't mean its the same person, just that the account was accessed/created from the same IP.
It's an honest mistake on the admins part, or if they have some automated script that does it automatically.

Could that be the case? Or is this a home IP?
