Anybody playing Spore? First new game that I've played in a long time, just started today. The creature generators are amazing but the game play is a little slow for me. I'm more of a FPS kinda guy. The game concept as a whole is very interesting to me but I'm still in learning mode. If you have any pointers on how to complete the Creature Stage, please share them. I'm have quite a challenge try to interact with other species. Post some of your creations here if you can. I will try to do that later.

I've been following the development of Spore since E3 2005 and it's nice to finally see it come out on shelves. The reviews praise it for it's accomplishments but also reveal a certain lack of depth which scales back the ratings to "good" as opposed to "great". Let me know how you like it as you get more involved with the gameplay elements.

It's about creating life and making it evolve from a single cell organism to expanding it into the universe. Kind of a sims type of game I guess.

 

I seen it new on shelf yesterday , but only in a PC format ?

 

I got it for my iphone but not the PC yet. I have enjoyed the iphone version, and will probally end up with the PC one later.

 

Ed, the PC and Mac versions are included in the same box.

 

Man I cant figure out how to get my creature into the post. Im sure a techno phobe

 

I really like it, picked it monday and in about 5 hours I was in space with my first creature. It was a lot easier than I was hoping.

 

Beth, I found that if you take a picture in the creature creator it sends it to the Spore website (there is a button on the lower left side of the screen). You can login there and view it. Copy it from there.

Or, you can take a screen snapshot during game play via computer keyboard.
