HOSS . the snake whisperer... my neighbor comes running to me a moment ago !! there`s a snake on my front porch .. she has a chopping hoe in her hand .. come kill it for me she says .. no .. not till i see what it is .. i say ... i just can not adhere to the old adage that the only good snake is a dead snake .. General Sheridan of the victorious yankees said the same thing about Indians .. but anywho i rescued the varmit and took it to safer grounds and released it ...

 

If it's poisonous I kill it and ask questions later.

Looks like a Kingsnake. They're great to have around, they're immune to our poisonous snakes venom and will kill them. I've got a picture somewhere I took in the woods of a Kingsnake eating a huge rattlesnake it had killed.

 

Not being able to read that, I don;t know if he should he be honored or insulted.

Asbestos was indentified as hazradous long before Trump became President. Nice try though.

 

He hasn't expanded its use. While most countries have banned it's use, attempts have failed here. Europe banned in in the early 2000's. Canada in 2016. Blame Congress (the ones who write laws) - they fail every time to pass a bill banning it and have openly opposed the EPA's effort to ban it. The last attempt at a bill was 2007. It passed the Senate but failed in the House.. You can thank high dollar lobbyist paying off life-time polititians. This all pre-dates Trump (who supports term limits on Congress). We have term limits on the President, but not Congress. They should all be limited.

 

Why we don't have limits across the board has always been a mind bender for me. You could be 100 years old with barely a pulse and/or a clue but still be allowed a political position.

No laws are being broken. Congress has to act to ban the substance by passing a law. Maybe Hillary arranged a swap - uranium for asbestos.

Note: I'm not condoning use of asbestos, just stating it isn't a crime since career politicians won't do their jobs.

 

i hate a mean barking dog .. my neighbor on the left who has lived off my kindness for the last 18 months has acquired a full grown German Shepard who at every chance tries to eat my arm off every time i step outside my home .. luckily there is a fence keeping the beast from me .. i told him you must choose between my friendship or that dog .. that was a week ago .. the dog is still there .. neighbors cant walk by without the beast ripping at the fence trying to get at them .. i have ordered a device that is supposed to suppress aggressive barking but it wont be here for a week .. i also know the beast does not like loud noises so i shoot my gun every time i step outside and it comes at me .. .. the beast will eventually dig out of the fence and harm someone .. .. i want to move far far from people ...

 

We have something called 'Bark Off'. It works with our two small dogs. Now all we have to say is, I'm going to get the 'Bark Off' and they shut up

 

That sucks Willie. I love dogs, but I too hate aggressive dogs and dogs that bark all the time. Glad I don't have neighbors right up against my place like that. People get on my dammed nerves.
