This way the liberals would still get their representation and the more rural areas would finally get a voice.
I'm surprised this is moving to a vote. The spilt would limit liberal control in Congress somewhat.
I totally agree. I thought it sounded like a good idea, but the way they are drawing the new states favors the liberal side. 2 more senate seats, and depending on southern California they could have a total of 4 senate seats.

Growing up in the south, I'm very familiar with porcupine eggs.

I like the Charger Hellcat even more than the Challenger HC. Looks sleeker too.

I've had them here in the north as well but never called them that. All I know is I've been impaled by them in my bare feet in the past when they dry out, Ouch!!!

I'll pay money to watch a porcupine eat a sweat drenched monkey wrench JS...

i had heard for some time that they were in north bama but i had never seen one till this morning .. i spend a lot of time down at a local creek/swimming hole . i walk there , i sometimes ride my bike there and i used to jog there .. but not anymore .. not without a weapon of some kind .. i just met a black bear .. he was less than 100 feet from me when we spotted each other .. luckily he meandered on down the creek .. scared me way more than it did him .. a local game warden type fellow who lives nearby says they have moved into the area but hopefully wont stay unless there is a female here as well ...

Usually the black bear I've run across are just as scared as the human. The first thing they usually want to do is flee. Now Grizzly and Polar which I've never seen want you for dinner!
