We've removed discipline from schools and home and glorified killing in popular culture. Kids are taught that nothing they do is wrong. When they finally have some sort of conflict, they shoot up a place.

Exactly! There were plenty of guns in the parking lot of my high school and no one ever considered shooting another student, no matter how pissed they got.

We have a problem with our society here in the Untied States, but blaming the tool used is not the solution. They had a mass stabbing in China a few years ago that left 29 dead and 130 wounded. but the Chinese didn't go out and blame the knife.

 

I didn't have my gun in the trunk for protection, I had it to go hunting. There was immediate access to it if I wanted to go shoot up the place. The bottom line is we didn't because we once again KNEW BETTER! This younger generation just doesn't seem to grasp this idea!

i believe most of the whole complex was USBI ( United Space Boosters Inc ) for many years and the ASD ( Advanced Systems Defence ) was formed when United Technologies ( parent company ) acquired the Tomohawk contract ... could not build space boosters and cruise missiles in the same building .. we were under Prat & Whitney`s wing for a bit as well as Sikorsky Helicopter and a few other UTC Companies until Summa Tech was formed ...

ASD, Summa Tech names I have forgotten. I was at USBI for 6.5 years and left before they moved the operation down to Florida. I knew one gentlemen at ASD who ran a Browns Backers group in Huntsville. Another gentlemen did some TIG welding for me on a 'tool' for my HD.

I suppose you are still in the local area. I was down in Huntsville in January as my company is now part of the HEXAGON group that owns Intergraph. The changes west of Cummins park was - wow.
