Not to make light of or take away from you trip back...
But we have a few quirking places around here that those who grew up here have memories of as kids. I am pretty sure they still go here to get a thrill.
I know back 40 years ago we use to run this road, Chicken Dinner Road. Home of Shay McClellan of Patriots Defense fame. A Boise State local product. But I digress...
It would scare the daylights out of you because there is a point in the road where it drops dramatically. When driving you can't see the drop off until it is right in front of you. It was known as the "End of the World". Pretty view of the valley below and mountains in the background. We would take unsuspecting friends or girls out and hit the gas. Cars would go air born if not careful. Don't know of any serious wrecks here. But there sure could have been. Lots of chunks out of the pavement and a lot of under carriages were throwing sparks and latter needing to be worked over... Your road sign brought back a few memories here, thanks!
Boy that was a long time ago... Seems like yesterday. Good times.
A few shots from Google maps...

how does that work? The corsair truck? If the motor is in the back then is the pickup bed in the front? Like a backwards truck? Bed, cab, engine

I've seen a couple of those through the years. Odd little vehicle. Had a an opening on the side of the bed like another tail gate.

How does a school have anywhere a child can drown? When I send my kids to school I never even think of them even being near anything they could drown in.
