It's not excessive Lee. Drugging kids is really that bad. On every level.

I believe it's most likely because she did it for quite a long time, and the children she did it to now have permanent impacts - brain damage, etc.

We should really wonder about the parents of these kids who chose her as their daycare provider.

I saw a quote yesterday attributed to Bill Maher (I don;t like him, but I do occasionally agree with him): "If you see someone stealing condoms, let them. If they can't afford $5.50 for condoms, they probably can't afford to raise a kid".

I didn't mean that I didn't agree with it, I meant it more along the lines of that it seemed excessive compared to some of the sentences that come out of courts these days for other serious crimes.

The problem has always been that the ones that shouldn't breed, breed the most. But Natural Selection usually whacks a few before they can all reproduce!

Our probem as a society is that we keep passing laws and regulations that don't let natural selection run its course.

Exactly. We have to tell people not to eat Tide pods, don't use a Bic lighter to get a look inside a gas can, don't use a charcoal grill inside the house.

I say its time to do away with ALL warning labels and thin the heard.

Warning labels don't stop the stupid.
Look at smokers.
(& the more who smoke & eat Tide Pods, the better)

The problem is, it's usually the innocent ones who suffer because of others' stupidity

A Shelby F350 dually?

GTFOH with that bullsh!t.

Shelby American has become such a money-hungry corporation since Carroll died, I'm fully expecting a Shelby Fusion Sport Super Snake, a Shelby Focus RS Super Snake, a Shelby Fiesta Super Siesta

Lol

Truck comes off the assembly line with 925lb/ft of torque. So for goodness knows how much money you can have them slap a bunch of Shelby stickers and emblems on it and they add 75lb/ft of torque. That's it? Roughly 8% increase. Which will of course just be a tune that anyone can get from any yahoo for a few hundred bucks.

To go from the factory 925 ft-lbs to "over 1,000" as they say, it requires such a mild tune, Ford should've just released the truck with 1,000 ft-lbs of torque to begin with.
Unless they're waiting for a mid-cycle refresh for that update. Like in a couple years, once the competition has had a chance to play catch-up a bit, "here's a refresh with 1,005 ft-lbs of torque", lol
