Get the Waze app for your phone, it's free. Pretty reliable as far as warning you where the cops are... accidents, construction, traffic delays, and backups too. I used it for 2500 miles to Florida and back over Christmas and was warned about every single cop along the way. it's less reliable on backroads though because it's dependant upon there being other "Wazers" inputting their sightings. on the expressways there's dozens to hundreds of other Waze users around at any given moment.
