Almost a yes. It turned off collectors while landing in my spot. I cleaned it and adjusted the timing.

They are S&W Model 27's which can shoot .357 Magnum's or S&W .38 Special ammo (the gun is built to fire either one).

The cost of S&W .38 Special vs. .357 Magnum is clearly to the .38 for practice. You save the more expensive .357 Magnum for later use.

Another picture made lately:

I wouldn't trade anything for this Model 27 .357/.38 Special. It offers kick for not much money while still 'looking good' (Target Trigger, Target Hammer...).

I am still working on the light in my homemade picture box.

You can see the pinned barrels which makes them older than 1980.

The diamond grips are back to 1968.

This M&P .38 Special dates back to before the moderators (1929).

That is actually a RB (round butt) Model 10. It's a bit rare. The grips are not stock.

Good luck. You can order a letter from the factory.

I've been collecting this stuff for 30 years.

What is this?

Nah, I don't work for them(although I'd like to), I've just been fanboying over them for quite a few years now. Fantastic company.

Dammit haha. I was hoping I was going to score a hookup on some lowers. Between my buddies and I, we want to build 4. Two for shorter to mid range, and two AR10s for longer range. Their lowers just feel so much nicer than the other no-name brands, even though it's really a non essential part to spend a lot of money on. We also want them all without serial numbers, but I've only found Noveskes 100%.

Noveskes Anodizing is top notch, which contributes to the feel of the lowers. Unfortunately, the don't do 80% lowers, and even if they did they wouldn't be anodized anyway, so that point is moot.

May I ask why you guys don't want SN#?

Because we live in CA lol. I guarantee within the next 5 years long rifles will be all but illegal here. You already can't have more than a ten round mag.
