Channel surfing yesterday and came across Fast and Furious. It was on a four car race scene, where the car starts to fall apart at 140 mph, but that's not even the funniest part. I realized the race was taking a hell of a long time, so I hit the rewind on the DVR and clocked the race. It took them a minute and a half to get up to 140 mph. Now that's comedy.

and if it wasnt a 1/4 mile race, and it actually DID take place in real time..... the average speed of a 0-140mph in 90 seconds is about 93mph... not counting the space it took to slow down and stop, that "race" would have covered 1.6 miles.......in urban LA.... yeah right
