A few of you know from my prior post my wife is in her fifth year of dementia. She has always been a dog lover and we had dogs in our family home for over fifty years. About a year ago she began asking that I get her a dog. Honestly, I just couldn't take anything more on and continually resisted the dog request. I am her caregiver about 95% of the time. Anyway, learned about this comfort dog and bought one for her. The dogs must have a computer in it as it reacts to all kinds of talk, movements and touching. I don' t have to feed it or take out to do its business. The dog was developed for people with her condition and I'm sure other medical issues as well.
It became a big issue what to name the dog for over three weeks, finally I suggested "Sally", after the song "Mustang" Sally. That caught on and my wife kept asking to take Sally on a ride in our convertible. So, today was the day.
All of us on these Mustang sites love our Mustangs, including me. We're on our fourth Mustang and my wife really likes this one. All of us have our non-car issues to deal with and as bad as this is some on this site are dealing with much worse. It's just life and what we're dealt.

I don't Know if You Have Read this Thread But it's Our Other Mustang Sally!
I'm closing in on 86 and my wife turned 80 a few days ago. Somehow, my health is pretty good.
I'm pretty sure a large number of us on this site are at the upper end of the age range. With all the stress in life, the Mustangs (at least for me) are a great stress reliver.

I agree it's not the number but the condition of the road. My wife has had cancer twice with all the accompanying radiation and chemotherapy treatments. The medical field defines her condition as dementia but I'm convinced it's from the treatments. CAT scan show just under a third of her brain cells are dead. I'll look at the site you posted.
