Car stuff first:

Steeda Tri-ax Shifter (I really need to update my profile to 2004 Mustang GT)
K&N Filter

Other things:

a few giftcards
an Express sweater
Futurama Season 4
Half-life 2

Gifts from my girlfriend:

Very Sexy 2 for Him (cologne, of course)
Frank Sinatra Memoirs book
Dodgeball and the original Manchurian Candidate
cufflinks from Express

It was a marvelous Christmas. I actually had more fun giving gifts to others. Like, I gave my dad "A Christmas Story" on DVD because he watches at least 8 hours of it on TBS every year.

I have that CD, I like all of it. I was never a big fan of Green Day but it's been hard to take that CD out of the car, I have that G&R too, good stuff.

Since I'm in Virginia the family decided to take it easy. Gift cards for Best Buy, Circuit City, and Outback Steakhouse (mmmmm, Outback). Funny how when I say, don't buy me anything, they don't listen.

I love Journey, I make no excuses for it! I got Time 3, and Greatest hits. Hubby and the kid are on Journey overload now, LOL

Poignant note about Journey: The Make A Wish foundation contacted them about a 16 yr old boy dying from Cystic Fibrosis. They went and hung out with him, gave him a signed Platinum album, demo tape of a song to be released in Vision Quest, and a walkman. The next day, the boy died... he had the walkman on and it was playing the Journey tape. Normally that would touch me, but really struck home hard for me because my daughter has CF as well.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Uggs. I got them back in the day, when they were not cool. I had been wanting a new pair, I literally live in them. Its been a nightmare finding them around here for the last couple months, I have no idea how it is hubby found mine.

I got an 05 GT. My parents paid $25k towards my car. That is my gift for every occasion for the rest of my life. Well, for each occasion, they will mail me a picture of my car in a card. I said that is fine and I will provide the photo to put in each card. :drive:

I'm late on here! To my credit, I've mostly been hanging out on the '05 board.

I'm basically new, so I'll say hi on here. I don't own a Mustang, and probably won't for a while, but I've been a Ford guy since birth and am in love with the new car. A coworker owns an '05 GT (F1Cobra on here), and he showed me these boards...they're one of the few that get past our filtering software at work. So, here I am!

My main passion is cycling...road or mountain, riding or fixing them, I do whatever. I own five right now, and am always looking around for another. I still love cars, however, I don't have the budget to support them right now. I hope to get a Mazda6 wagon in a few years, and do a frame-off on my Caprice...so my car interest will probably shoot up like crazy.

Anyway, I got useful stuff. A lamp, coat, gloves, hot chocolate mix (mmm), and a balaclava thing so I can cover my ears and face and put my bike helmet over it.

For me, road bike shoes and parts for my newest project, shown below. It's just waiting to be cleaned and put together!

Nice! Those are supposed to be great riding bikes and a good value for the money. I've only ridden one full-carbon frame, a Specialized Roubaix, and liked it...but I don't think it had much over my steel bikes.

My current dream bike is the '05 Jamis Eclipse...lugged steel/carbon (half carbon, half Reynolds 853), with Campy Centaur components. It's so pretty.

Here's my current modern road bike, an '03 Jamis Ventura. It's one of their cheaper bikes...Reynolds 520 frame and Tiagra components, but it fits me well and rides great. I'll have to wait for a real job to upgrade.

I'll start a bike thread on here, as soon as I can access pictures of my other rides...can't get to Geocities sites here at work.
