When did you start vodka? I thought that was in the same category as water for you... anything clear isnt worth having.

About a year and half, 2 years ago. Vodka, club soda, lime wedge. Lot less calories than Crown and ginger ale, and I got to where whisky ****ed me up too bad in a way I didn't like. I still drink it a couple times a year but I can't handle it on a regular basis anymore.

I never thought I'd be one to enjoy the 'tater juice either, never cared much for light likker. But now its all I drink, comrade.

I'm trying to get a hold of some new vodka from Colorado but can't find it anywhere around here yet. Its supposed to be excellent, won some major awards last year and gets super high marks from vodka experts. Atlanta area seems to be the closest place that has it. I love Tito's, its fantastic, but this stuff is supposed to be top notch. I just want to try it to see how it is, probably costs too much to drink on a regular basis.

I had a bad dark liquor experience December 1990. I cannot even stand the smell of it now. Tequila or Vodka is now my choice.

See if you can find some of that Woody Creek down there in Warner Robbins and let me know how it is. If you haven't had it, try some Tito's, its damned good vodka too.

My aunt has been drinking vodka tonic for many years and the first time I took her some Tito's she said it was the best vodka tonic she ever had.

She said the same thing about a Bloody Mary.

I don't like either one so I wouldn't know, lol.

I pretty much only drink Bloody Mary's when we go camping. Or if I have an early flight at the airport vodka tonics are gross though

Anybody see that silver '79 10th anniversary Trans Am with 8 miles on Barrett Jackson the other night? I couldn't believe someone paid $170K for that car. I just didn't see those cars bringing that kind of money.

Don't think anybody did. Now everybody with a POS T/A will think they got something. Lol. It was a beautiful car but still a POS.

Yep. At least that one had the Pontiac 400 and a 4 speed instead of that boat anchor 403 Oldsmobile that most of them had.

I think I saw that one. Crazy money.

Is it just me or are the Shelbys going for a lot less now than a few years back? I remember them going for a couple hundred thousand.

They're all down a bit, as they should be. The prices just got absolutely ridiculous.
