That was me asking about the boys with the teddy bear, it was Kevin that lost his kitty. But Im afraid mine is about to go, he's been in the hospital for a couple days for an abscess from a cat fight. Just got him home earlier after surgery.

Thanks For Asking! We Have 3 Cats Still. Issac who is The Oldest and is Orange Color. Both Fancy & Issac Were Adopted Shortly After My Son Passed Away in 2011. Wicker is an All White Male and a Handfull. My Daughter Found him as a Baby Kitten in the Middle of the Road. She Opened Her Car Door and He Jumped in. She Moved Out and Could not Have Pets in her Condo So we Kept him. He is About 6 They are both Indoor Only Cats. Sylvester is Black & White Like The Cartoon Cat and is Half Feral But Tame & Gentle and Smart Enough to Never Cross the Road. Loves to Hunt Anything and Will Not Let Any Other Cats Invade his Space. He is About 5. They are Our Kids These Days!

Losing Fancy was Really Difficult Because She Fought to Live Like No Animal I had Ever Seen! She Never Lost Her Dignity & Always Got Her Business Done in the Catbox Even if I Had to Put Her In after She Wobbled Towards it. At One Point She Stopped Eating and I Ran Out & Got Get This, Fancy Feast! and She Would Nibble a bit and regained Some Strength.

Like I Said She was an Indoor Cat but in the End I would Take Her Out to the Front Lawn and Let Het Sunbathe and Gnaw on some Green Grass. It perked her up. I spent Many a Night with her Laying on my Chest as I Gently Petted her and Talked to Her. Many Prayers as well.

We Never Wanted her to suffer yet did not want to give up on her and I Don't believe she Suffered until the Final Day when She Started Having Seizures. Once She Looked Like No Return I Prayed again For Her Healing or a Merciful Quick End. She Passed a Minute Later.

I made Her a Small Coffin and Curled Her in Her Nap Position and Placed her Favorite Toy in With Her. She Looked At Peace Like She was taking a Cat Nap & Dreaming Cat Dreams. I Cut a Little Bit of Fur Off to save as a Keepsake and Place in a Framed Picture of Her. Like They did Back in the 19th Century. We Said Our Final Goodbyes and We Buried her in the Back Yard Under The Shade of a Tree.

Thank you Kevin, he's Max. He got in a fight with something and got a puncture wound that we couldn't see, but got infected and turned into an abscess that needs surgery. I'm a. Dog guy, have always been, but this little cat has been such a godsend, first cat I've ever had in the house, been here 10+ years. .

Consider He is a Ten Year Old Cat Which Makes Him Our Age So Healing Can Be Slow Going. Go with Your gut on Treating Him as Vets can Be Helpful but are not all Knowing. I think the Meds Our Vet Gave Fancy Did more Harm than Good in Our Case and Every Case is Different.

Hopefully Max is Eating and Drinking Ok! If Not a Dropper For Water maybe Needed at Some Point. If He Eats Dry Normally and Has a Small appetite Try Wet Kitten Food as it is Easier to Digest. These are Just My Opinions for What it's Worth! Like Any Other Being We All need to be Loved On. Encourage him Just Like any Sick Family Member!

My Dad had a Japanese Bobtail Cat. 3 links in the tail and what God did not give her in Tail he gave her in Meanness. The Rodent population was non existent. Dogs, she never met a dog she couldn't beat up and if they were large she would let them chase her to somewhere she could get up higher to pepper their face with her claws.
We figured out how she was going to be when the neighbor said we should keep our cat off of the fence since his fighting dog was trained with cats, about that time Midnight jumped down and put a whipping on the dog and then jumped back up on the fence and cleaned her claws while the dog coward in the corner.

This one is a rampant hunter too. Has dragged rabbits as big as himself on the porch as trophies. Saw him stalk and attack a large turkey in the woods, he got a divot pecked in his head from that misjudged choice, lol.

Yes Our Wicker Follows The Wife round Like a Puppy! So We Refer to Him as Puppy Cat! Max is a Way Cool Looking Dude! I Hope He Makes a Full Recovery! Last Pic Has a I Did Not Do That Look!
