When the S197 rolled out there was nothing stopping me from getting one. For better or worse they were handing these out like candy and I wasn't about to say no.
All was great when 2008 and 2009 hit. Strapped for cash it was the house or the cars. With kids, I knew which way I had to go.
That sucked big time.
My loving family and I are doing fine after a few hard days behind us. Still have the house.
Now I drive a dodge minivan that I actually like.
Like when I was a kid I still look at mustangs with great pride. I still have all my mods and never intend on letting them go.
With the price of the 05 to 09 mustangs dropping I get that drooling sensation of desire for a mustang again and again.
I have to thank Jill, Gary, Nathan, Arin, Bill, Tom281, Cody, Scothew and countless others (MCTC) (POTR) (Midwest TMSer's) for the post count the I have amassed over to time.
All the articles that I read on this sight were so helpful in doing the mods of the past.
To be honest I'm sure my wife would not like to see another mustang in my life that she would have to share me with.
We'll see how that goes another day.
Don't forget Brad the man we owe this forums obsession to.
Let's keep motoring on.

I have had to do it myself at one time. sold my 1st mustang, dirt bike and few other things when times where tough. I learned that with sacrifice in time good things will come. I have been layed off twice, my 1st wife cheated on me and got pregnant from the guy.I had a few run ins with him including him causing damage to my car. The divorce was ugly, had to sell the house etc. I got injured on the job and now I am retired, I went a good few years of self pitty, weight gain and just no good. Things have turned around I got a better out look on things. I have been married to my loving 2nd wife for 10yrs ( who stuck by me during my down peroid), fought for custody of my 2 boys, got another house and another mustang. I wish you all the best but I believe you will come out good in the end
Yes, great to have you back.

I like this one but it's a bit spendy for the year. I like this body style.
