McCain is like Arlen Specter (PA senator) he's a RINO.

Republican In Name Only.

Actually, I liked McCain at first too, but he start flip-flopping to pander to everyone. That annoys me. If you stand for something, stick by it. Don't pander.
He definitely loves to be in front of the camera, thats for sure... Sometimes I think he puts his foot in his mouth because he cant wait to get on camera!

I agree mr-mstng...

In this race, you may hate President Bush, and think he's a horrible president, but you have to admit that the man stands by his beliefs and decisions.

No flip-flopping on the issues with him.

And my biggest problem with Kerry lately is that he's focusing all his energy in his campaign to talk about his FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam, and not mentioning his NINETEEN YEARS experience in the Senate at all!!

Someone watches Fox News. Lovely support for such an insane and completely baseless statement. I must be a pretty big $%&#in' Communist then, or is that what you tell all the ladies to impress them.

It's attitudes like this that are in charge of this country (not Bush himself thank goodness, but his cabinet except for Powell... ugh), where if you disagree with what's being done there's obviously something wrong with you not how things are being conducted.

And my biggest problem with Kerry lately is that he's focusing all his energy in his campaign to talk about his FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam, and not mentioning his NINETEEN YEARS experience in the Senate at all!!
The reason for this is that when you're a President you don't take part in debates on bills or vote for them to pass. You're the executive that makes them concrete law yes, but you really have little to do with the legislative process other than possibly cheerleading for something you want to pass. You can use his Senate record to see how he felt about different matters over the years or something if you want. Right now the Democrats are (unfortunately) forced to make themselves sound more militarily apt than the current administration in order to get swing voters with whom security and foreign affairs are important (which is a surprisingly large segment). So they have to mention Kerry's service a lot in order to portray him as an equal or tougher commander-in-chief than the incumbent President.

get over it liberal cry babies... i thought this was a mustang board.
Um, waaaaaaaaaaaah? I know it's the same dude saying this as the first quote, I just find him hilarious.

I don't necessarily vote per "Party" lines. I vote for the person running for office. That said, the republicans, as a party, have more closely resembled my beliefs in recent years than the democrats. But I still look at each individual running.

The following was sent to me by my brother-in-law. I realize that I will probably get "attacked" for it, but it is submitted in fun.

IN OTHER WORDS, THIS IS JUST GOOD FUN -- TAKE IT AS SUCH:

21 Steps to Becoming a Good Democrat

Virtually anyone can be a Democrat. Just simply quit thinking and vote that
way. If you want to be a GOOD Democrat, however, there are some
prerequisites you must have first. Compare them below and see how you
rate...

1. You have to believe the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of Federal
funding.

2. You have to believe that the same school system that can't teach 4th
graders how to read is somehow the best qualified to teach those same kids
all about sex.

3. You have to believe that guns, in the hands of law-abiding Americans, are
more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology, in the hands of
Chinese communists.

4. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by
cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate, and more affected by
Americans driving SUVs'!

5. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual
is natural.

6. You have to be against capital punishment but support abortion on demand.

7. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments
create prosperity.

8. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony
activists from Seattle do.

9. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually
doing something to earn it.

10. You have to believe the U.S. military, not evil, tyrannical regimes,
start wars.

11. You have to believe the NRA is bad, because it supports certain parts of
the Constitution that you can actually find in the constitution, while the
ACLU is good, because it supports certain parts of the constitution that are
only found by reading between the lines.

12. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

13. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more
important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, General Robert E. Lee
or Thomas Edison.

14. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial
quotas and set-asides are not.

15. You have to believe Hillary Clinton is all about "progress" and not power. She just wants to help us out of the archaic system of governing that
we've been subjected to since our founding.

16. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked
anywhere it's been tried, is because the right people haven't been in
charge.

17. You have to believe Republicans telling the truth belong in jail, but a
cheat, liar and sex offender belongs in the White House and you would vote
him back in there in a New York minute (if you could).

18. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag,
transvestites and beastiality should be constitutionally protected and
manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

19. You have to believe that illegal Democrat Party funding by the Chinese
is somehow in the best interest of the United States.

20. You have to believe that the vociferous minorities who protest against
prayer and saluting the flag in school, the 10 commandments in court, have
far more rights than the majority who believe in God and country and want
these values to be instilled in our young children.

If you are locked in solidly to most of these beliefs - you're gonna be a
big asset to John Kerry.

That is something that is very tough for Democrats. Historically, people view the Republicans as stronger on military affairs, and Democrats as stronger on economic ones (surprisingly, because R's are more for big business) . They (Dems) have to be careful not to overplay his military service. For every person coming out to support him, there is one waiting to come out against him (i.e. the new book "Unfit For Command")

Karl Rove can eat a bag of anthrax for some of the things he's done to help his boy Bush get ahead, like attacking John F'n McCain's war record in 2000 and now attacking Kerry's four years later. Rove is the real mastermind behind all this.

Kerry made an issue out of his medals, so anybody that served in his unit, I think has a fair shake at it. So what that McCain has a problem with it? I forget he speaks for everybody. <_<

Funny...Democrats didn't have any problems trying to make Bush's National Guard service record an issue, but now they do when its one of their own under scrutiny?

The Ten Commandments--Republican Style

I. Thou shalt talk about Christian principles, but not live by them

II. Thou shalt attack opponents personally when you can't win on policies

III. Thou shalt call yourself pro-life, but be in favor of the death penalty

IV. Thou shalt call yourself pro-life, and put guns in the hands of school children

V. Thou shalt give lip service to democracy while taking away civil liberties

VI. Profit is the Lord Thy God, thou shalt not put the people's interest above those of your corporate contributors

VII. Thou shalt make sure fetuses have health coverage, but leave children and babies behind

VIII Thou shalt bear false witness against your opponents and liberals, and demonize them

IX. Thou shalt run on a moderate platform, then enact right-wing policies as soon as possible

X. Thou shalt call the media liberal, so that people forget that the media is owned by corporations with a conservative fiscal agenda

Lets Flip Flop:
Here are things most of us would like to see happen, but that never will

IF April Ruled the world:

People in the military would be paid their worth, and overrated movie stars would not. Why pay some "actress" 20 Mil. a film and pay a serviceman $250 or so a week? That ain't right. And also, no draft-My child will go out of the country before he is drafted against his will.

The Mexican border would be clapped shut-with fences and dogs and bees and dogs who shoot bees out of their mouths. I have HAD it with the illegals here. Hello? My kids are American, I should NOT have to pander to the illegals who do not speak english going to their school. Bush Ticked me off with his Illegal for free act he made.

I would not be "going to _______ " if I do something the Churchy people do not like. Right, You preach to me but I can't preach to you. For Instance: Alabama has no lottery because we are in this stupid bible belt and will go to the aforementioned if we gamble. Right. I am going to get poked on the hiney with a pitchfork if I don't toe the line.

Education would be that- no more teachers showing up to draw a paycheck to put movies on for the kids to dumb themselves up with.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. I don't want my guns took away or those of other law abiders, but I don't want people who shouldn't have em to have them either.

ENGLISH would be the official language of the USA, If you come here, learn it. If not deal with it.
