Yeah, it does not sound good IMO, also why did the taillights on the blue Vette look like they were flickering?

 

I don't think it sounds bad. Sounds better than a stock 5.0. Throw an exhaust on it and I bet they'll scream.

 

That is because they are LED lights and they don't stay solid on video only to the naked eye.

 

Yknow i didnt know that at first so when i saw vids of the 10+ models an the lights flickered it reallybtripped me out

Yep, you hardy ever hear a LT/LS that sounds good.

 

stock vettes never sound good.

But that vid did answer one question I always had, how do they get out of the cars when they put them in the trailer. Now I know, there's massive doors on the trailer!

 

I never have liked the sound of the LS motors, and it seems like the more exhaust parts you throw at one, the worse it gets. There's a GTO that comes by my house quite often with some kind of loud exhaust on it that sounds absolutely horrible.

IMO, nothing will ever sound as good as a Fox body 5.0 with a cam.

 

Exhaust sound, LS/LT particularly don't come through microphones very well. You almost always miss the deep tones.

 

In person they've always sounded rough, like a goat getting beat at wot. Regardless of power, mustangs have always sounded better.

But yea GM V8's always have that kind of "old" sound to em. Not the good old like lopey cammed carbeurated motor, but old as in old motor old pipes, etc. idk but thats just how i hear em. They tend to get really raspy even early in the rpm range. But i will say this though,
That dual-mode exhaust system is pretty cool and with the right pipes Vettes and even Maros sound pretty nice.

But bnthing beats a Mustang

The only LS that has ever sounded good is the LS9. Otherwise, they all sound like crap.
