OMG. That was awful but is anyone else wondering what in the world the driver of the mustang was doing flying down the far left lane, which isn't even a driving lane??? That van was completely stopped. Looks like another reason for insurance companies to raise rates of sports cars.

Its called a carpool lane. You can see the sign in the center divider (There is no shoulder). The driver of the mustang should have seen the van was stopped there though. On the other hand, the driver of the van should have had it emergency lights on. But I will agree most drivers in So Cal are retards, 99% of which live in Orange County.

That guy in the corolla either had some mad skills or just plain good luck, he swerved in like 4 different differects and slid the car all over the place and didnt hit anyone.

What is the entire highway drunk? How can you not see the accident(s) comming up well in advance, and what the heck are they doing driving so fast to start with in a work zone?

Actually he did bump the car on the right, but I'd say he still did a pretty darn good job

Needless to say, I doubt the guy in the Mustang was car pooling.

There were at least two people in the car, which in most places qualifies you for use of the HOV lane. Don't know about the particulars on this stretch of road, but outside of rush hour the lane is usually not restricted.

Must be an American thing. I see the double yellow line. Here, that lane is not for use. If you are having car trouble and can't pull over to the far right hand lane, then you go into that lane. Needless to say, I doubt the guy in the Mustang was car pooling.
