If anyone missed TopGear last evening, all I can tell you is WHAT AN EPISODE!!! They tested the Enzo (and it was Nick Mason's, of Pink Floyd), the Porsche Carrera GT, and my favorite, the Pagani Zonda C12 S 7.3 V12 :drool: . Jeremy Clarkson is a goof, but was really funny while he was driving the Enzo. Then they took the Enzo around their track to see its time, 1:19:00, amazing.

The best part, they compared these 3 new supercars to 3 supercars from the "Regan and Thatcher Era" as Jeremy stated. The other 3 cars were the Jaguar XJ220 ( a twin turbo V6), the Ferrari F40, anf the fast of its time the Mclaren F1. To see the Jaguar trounce the Pagani in a straight ahead race, from a stand still was incredible. It was a definite VCR episode. Did anyone else see it?

I saw it when it was originally aired, the only thing the new cars had going for them was better cornering ability. As you say, that episode was definately a keeper.

Man, I wish I had cable or satellite... It sounds line an amazing show.

As with all the Enzos' that were built, you had to be "invited" to purchase one, and I am assuming that he either had an F40, and an F50 in the past, or was a good customer long ago. I am sure being a famous rock star doesn't hurt either.

Check out the video's on the Top Gear site, they have a great video of Jeremy Clarkson driving a new Ford GT. During the review he mentions how only a few lucky people in the UK are going to get and he's one of those lucky people! His comments about the car are great.
