Thinking of getting a C5 Vette for a "fun" car

One of local Ford dealers has a high mileage (110k miles) 2002 base Vette on the lot. The price is a tad high but I'm trying to work it down. I have a 2014 GT so there's no way I'm getting a new vette any time soon but thought this might be a fun alternative that scratches the Vette itch and also saves some miles on the Mustang. I've had it almost a year and a half and am rapidly approaching 50,000 miles.

My family wants a boat instead but they also wanted a new house with a pool. We got that and they never play in the pool, lol.

Is this a completely stupid idea???
