I wouldn't dare put gardening supplies in my stang. You are very brave
My issue is- if I am out and about and it catches my eye it is coming home with me. I worry about how to fit it in the car LATER. .
And then I go home and detail the inside for 2 hours

I wouldn't have bought a Mustang if it were my primary family car. Mine -- its usually only me, bit occassionally a kid or two. If I were going to drive kids/family around, my wife has an F-150 Supercrew.
A few years ago my wife bought an F-150 supercab. She hit so many things we traded it for a beetle. Too big for a little woman (5'4").

I have always driven "toy" cars.
I had a sunbird, a (don't laugh) Elantra which I turned into a tin can, Two neons, the alero and now Eleanor.
I don't feel comfy driving huge giant vehicles. My mom has a Liberty, and driving it feels like a school bus.

The mustang- Love and adore it, and the attention I get helps(even though suddenly its like springtime with all the yellows popping up here). I will drive it into the ground, and worry about fitting everyone in later.

More of our problems- the seats- We recline them a little bit much I think- but you never get the seat back into the position you want when you are constantly having to move them frontward to let kids out.

Brians solution for our vehicle problems- he is on the hunt for a vintage Dodge Dart.
