The Scat Pack is back for Mopars

The Challenger 5.7 R/T for 2014 gets three Scat Pack options.

Scat Pack 1,2,3.

1. is a cold air/cat back/ECU reflash
2. is a hotter cam + scat pack 1
3. is ported heads + scat pack 1&2.

No release of power gains, but a scat pack 3 equipped Challenger vs a stock R/T demonstrated a 4-5 car lengths quicker on youtube.

Nice option for buyers that want factory parts, and don't want an SRT8.

Frankly, I think the R/T classic is better looking than the SRT8, and I don't really care too much about Brembos, giant stereos, high bolstered seats, etc.

I am guessing a scat pack #3 Challenger should be good slightly more power than the old 6.1 hemi, and obviously less than the current 6.4.

I will agree with that. Finally Dodge has stepped it up a bit. Good to hear.
4-5 car lengths is A LOT. That scat pack 3 must have been moving.
