One of my older collection purchases
I have some old items in my collection, like these old maps, but I really like this pre-Mopar spark plug I just bought. Still new in box from the 1930's.

The artwork on the maps was quite impressive and the paper quality really thick and durable too. I've framed several of them. They open up into sweet reminders of what they used to give away for free.
Ya Know Back in The Day I would Send Mustang Posters & Banners With The Gt-500 Kits. Those Items in Mint Shape These Days Are Worth Some Bucks. I Always Tried To Add Whatever Swag I Had That Would Fit in the Box Of What I Was Selling and I Many Times Would Get Posts Of The Swag From The Buyer Here with an Online Thank You. Some Even Commented Then That The Free Stuff Was Cooler Than The Part They Got!
When I Went Back To Ebay a Couple of Years Ago I Started Out Adding a Little Bonus With Every Order. Well After Never Getting a Thank You Note Down The Road and Many Times Not Even Feedback I Said The Heck With It! I have 100% Feedback on the Ones That Do Leave Feedback. Anyhoo That is Just How People are These Days. Oh, I Do Enclose a Bamboo Cloth With All My Badge Sales. It Works Great to Remove all The Fingerprints after Install!
I Guess These Days If You Don't Get a Complaint You Did Alright! I Miss The Old Way!

^^ It's strange that buyers don't like to talk about their purchases. I have run into the same situation where folks will not respond to the friendliest of messages I write, "You must have a nice collection" or "What do you like to collect besides these oilers or maps?" Dead silence 9 out of 10 times. I share a few photos of the maps or interesting cans and absolutely nothing in return. People are not afraid to post every detail of their lives on social media, but ebay? Forget it.. It's very cold and now AI driven with descriptions. Not mine....
People Have Gotton So Used To Being Invisible and The Media Pushes it. Lets Take For Example The Progressive Commercials Making Anybody Who Wants To Interact or Chat To Look Like an Idiot Who Has Become Their Parents. I Hate Those Commercials!
Many of Us Have Become So Isolated & Unable To Interact With Even Our Closest Neighbors. I Can Remember The Names Of Most of My Neighbors Up To When I Left My Teen Years Behind. After That I Would Be Lucky to Know More Than 1 or 2 Houses Down The Road Wherever I Lived. Pretty Sad State of Affairs for Many!
