Ironic: They're expensive because you are paying for the GTO name and the GTO spirit is exactly what the car doesn't have.

I ride my bike, past a local Pontiac delaers 3 times a week, and I've noticed that they had 3 GTOs. 1 in the showroom, and 2 on the lot. One was gone last week, and the other on the lost is gone this week. I wonder if rebates kicked in or what?

they must have given them to salesmen to take home, drive around and MAYBE create some interest.

They just had a black one with black interior on The Price is Right. The dumb bastard who was trying to win it guessed only $25,000, and that included a new motorcyle and a really expensive-looking dress as well. He ended up being $18,500 or so off. I laughed, since I had guessed $43,000. His name was Patrick also. I was ashamed to be one after that sorry display. He almost nutted himself when he saw it too. Shame.

That's just lovely. Remember, only black people may wear these things.
