Guess it has done it's job well
Truck is in really great shape overall. Just has minor dings and scratches. Only big dent is on the actual tailgate on the inside. As if something too heavy was dropped onto it. But opens and closes fine.

Managed to fix the rear drivers side door cables. Was way more involved than I thought. Still the top latch is kinda iffy, but it works lol. Next would be fixing the right side door.

That belt was filthy. I cleaned it as well as the door jamb.

Full synthetic Oil & motorcraft oil filter changed
Glad I decided to do it, since the previous owner forgot to tighten the oil filter. I'm trully surprised it didn't even leak oil since it was barely finger tight!

The truck has been remarkably trouble free. I drive it whenever I can.

I wish this thing had a locking diff. It's a PITA when the road is wet. Instant one wheel peel with the 3.73's it has.

Update!

An oil leak from the drivers side valve cover appeared. It's small, but it's anoying me. I ordered felpro valve cover & upper plenum gaskets to take care of it. And while there, see if I can find a small exhaust leak I've noticed on the same side. Hope it's not a cracked manifold.

Not much done to the truck. One of the wiper linkage bushings failed and had to replace it. Been putting it to work hauling concrete, sand and stone bags, blocks & more stuff for some construction work at home. The Ranger has performed great!

Update!

Got this exploder gauge cluster for $45

I'll add LEDs as well. I also replaced the driver's side washer nozzle since it was clogged to oblivion and didn't clean out no matter what I did to it, so it went to the trash.

So one needs to be a non-random douchebag, then they can steal it? How does that work anyway?

I just popped in this thread, sorry I'm late. But hey, I just wanted to say that lil' truck gettin the love it is from you is fantastic! Sounds like overall it's a great lil' truck. I was thinkin' about gettin' one of these things, but then I had another vehicle come around and it was 'can't not get that' priced and overall good shape.

Still... maybe a Ranger for me is not out of the question. Then do the 4.94889 engine swap in it. Because racetruck.

But yeah, I just wanted to say keep it up, and keep tellin' us stories about it!
