My "new" (to me) truck

2000 Ranger xlt supercab. It has a lot of new parts and some extras like bluetooth radio, LED light bar and LED tails. I love this thing lol!

The new ranger looks pretty cool! I was looking at the Chevy Colorado, but I decided not to get into debt for that new car smell. So got this instead lol.

It's been years since I've driven a pickup truck. It sure felt weird at first. And the fact that the solid axle in rhe back makes it more tail happy than a mustang sure makes you to pay attention while driving. More so on bad roads like everywhere here

Just replaced the crappy horns with OEM 2010 f-150 units. Now it sounds like it should Also installed a mc guard tailgate lock so a random douchebag can't steal it.

Been thinking of swapping the pony wheels from the 96, but since the tires on the 15"s are almost new, that won't happen soon.

Nice! Never had a ranger, but small trucks are awesome. No more hauling stuff in the Mustangs trunk! It's tail happy because there's no weight over the rear axle. In the winter, just put some weight in the back for traction. I've seen these things that look like water beds, the idea is they'll freeze and not move around. This one 4WD?

I put in a new 180° superstat yesterday to the 3.0L, so it wouldn't run too cold all the time.
Burping the coolantwith my fancy funnel

Also the throttle body was filthy inside, and gave it some cleaning. I removed the old power window regulator, and my guess of it having worn teeth was correct.

Pesky rivets.

New assembly

Next on the list, fixing the power mirrors. And I may also upgrade to the bigger 06-11 mirrors, since it's a very easy/cheap mod to do

Bed liner was removed to inspect the condition of the bed. Happy to report that it was in gteat shape. Some little surface rust in a few spots .

I need to get new stainless steel bolts to replace the old ones. And fix a hole on the actual bed liner.

Wow, looks like it's in great shape. Makes me wonder if that's a testament to the shape the truck is in or a testament to the bed liner
