Wow, that's quite a loss. The way he thinks of car's with a soul and whatnot, I say he may end up with that one or one like it shortly.
I just can't believe it was never able to get fixed properly for something so minute. |
Sad story. I shake my head when I think of of Jeremy returning this car for such a small problem. Surely this is an annoyance, but it sounds like one that would be relatively easy to fix. But what do we plebes know about things like this?

now that is a sad story

Man I hate to hear that. Maybe ford will find out where the car is and get someone sent over to look at it and get it fixed RIGHT. I think if they do, and then let Jeremy keep the car for a bit before he buys it back, I think it will help him in his decision.

Get Lamborghini Gallardo or Porsche 911 Turbo S. It is fine. It is perfect. It knows it’s a great, great car that was ruined by a useless ape who fitted a crummy aftermarket alarm system. I think if its fixed he'll buy it back, he loves it after all. :nice: |

Get Lamborghini Gallardo or Porsche 911 Turbo S. did you read the story? I didn't see the part where he said that he has been lusting over a Lambo or porsche for 35 years............. Andy, The alarm was the recommended (in writing) alarm from Ford......needed it to get insured........ |
I still can't believe he gave the car back after lustin for one for 35 years. I saw a GT40 on a used car lot in Newport Beach in 1971. They were asking $15K for it. I've wanted one since they won LeMans, but a small thing called money has kept me from having one. Oh well....

Seems like he over reacted. As annoying as those problems were, its a very special car and I'm sure it could have been fixed.
|
I would of replaced the POS alarm system.
My uncle saw a real 05 yellow with black stripes FORD GT today in Clifton Park, NY |
I stopped reading the article at this line:
As we know from America’s arrival into the second world war, their concept of “on time” differs slightly from ours. |
Maybe he should have bought a Cobra if he wanted a real car. hehe :-D

I didnt know the GT came with that sort of alarm system (that the car is constantly tracked and can be shut off with the push of a button in such case)
