I remember the Cosworth Vegas. However, pretty much every Vega and Pinto around down here has been snatched up, cut up, and put into service as an oval dirt track car in the various Pony classes.

1934 Ford Model 40 Special Speedster

It was built as a personal car for Edsel Ford (Henry's only son) and he drove it only during summers. It was powered by a Mercury V8 engine.
After Edsel's death in 1943, the car was painted red and sold few times. It was also used for tours for the army during the Vietnam war. Nobody knew where it was from the late 1960s until it was found in 1999.

It was restored in original condition in 1999 and sold for $1.75 million.

Man there are some SWEET cars in here I didn't even know about. Excellent thread.

Never heard of an EXP before. time for wikipedia..

Actually saw a Probe GTS before at my uncle's goodyear. That was an excellent day. Wish I could find my through-the-rearview pics, but i saw an ASC capri on 880 once

Time to contribute..

Mustang II Rallye

Not really a production offering, but certain dealers could also install a Kemp-style widebody.

i saw one of these at the infineon drift event yesterday. It was most excellent (and actually, the first chrysler version i had seen)

I also always kinda liked my friends dad's Z24 Cavalier. Probably because I liked my dad's cimarron so much lol. definitely not fast, but peppy and still a bit of fun.

My parents had an EXP when I was little. I just barely remember it. It was the car my dad tried to teach my mom how to drive stick in - he failed.

I'll take some of the more contemporary models!

Threw in the Saleen Ranger/Explorer/Focus, Roush F-150 Nightmare/Expedition/Focus, SVT Ranger with Lightning internals built for SEMA, Mach Audio Focus, Sony Edition Focus, Pioneer Tremor Ranger, Latin America quad cab Ranger, '99 35th Anni Edition Mustang, '00 Springtime Edition Mustang (in itself a remake of the '66 Springtime), and the Hertz GT-H Mustang.

I've always wanted to import one of those Ranger cabs, put it on one of our chassis and then put an Explorer or Mountaineer front end on it. People would wonder it is!
