C6 released!
Ouch! I belatedly picked up my issues of Car & Driver and Automobile today from my PO Box today and read the reviews. Sounds like a great car. I like the looks of the front end on the C5 and haven't seen the C6 yet so I'll hold off voicing my opinion until I see one on the road.
Yeah, I know the rep the Corvette has, April, but as a sports car in the same class as the Ferrari 360--which it destroys at a fraction of the price, it's a dang good machine. And how come drivers of other cars in this class don't hear this? Is it because they have bigger, er, wallets?

Good point..............
Bit I never said I didn't share my corvette distaste for her higher priced sisters as well.
Give me a good mustang or classic muscle car anyday.

I don't see how driving a Mustang is different in the compensation department, if one were to try and use that argument.

If I am wrong correct me, but its all the arrogant golf crowd etc that drive corvettes. You drive a Mustang(or comparable) for fun, and a Corvette(or comparable) to be seen in.

I'm buying one for fun?
I saw a C6 on the road a week or so ago, and it looked really good going down the road. It wasn't that ugly copper color though.
BTW, if I had the money, and I didn't care about having a backseat, I'd probably buy a Vette. They are cool cars for the money.

My uncle has been working on the C6. He's one of the guys that built the blue C6 (C601, the first one built) on the cover of Car & Driver
