Ok, I'm gonna get right to the question. Do we want an amphibian Mustang?

Blue Notch 10/18/09 12:27 PM

Don't think so.

really? ok. that's why i made the poll. to see opinions. i will reveal my opinion at the end.

Blue Notch 10/18/09 12:50 PM

Voted.

Zastava_101 10/18/09 01:01 PM

Sure, why not.

Metrionix 10/18/09 01:51 PM

For now, I will only say this, Mustangs ability to kick *** has always come from it's ability to diversify and fit into as many people's tastes as possible. Do you have any clue how man different types of Mustangs there are?

Blue Notch 10/18/09 04:31 PM

No, I'm stupid.

Flagstang 10/18/09 04:37 PM

lets stay on topics.. its ugly and I hate it! its only 2 steps above a prius

I think the amphibious Mustang is a cool idea, as long as it keeps the same look as the roadgoing-only model

houtex 10/18/09 07:36 PM

I don't like the choices. Especially the second one:

"No, the Mustang is perfect,..." Well, to be sure, it's not, because there's no such thing as perfect in our current world, but even if it were... *which* Mustang might that be? There'd be grand arguments regarding this topic alone, I'm sure.

"...and you are flat out wierd,..."
We are all weird. Weird is by definition 'not normal', and there isn't a one among us that is to be considered normal. However, you do seem to have the pedal to the metal, so 'flat out' is probably descriptive. :)

"...and we don't need a Mustang on the water."
Ahem. I'd like a Mustang on the water, I bet. :D

"Stop makeng freaky polls!"
I wouldn't stop ya. I like these little diversity polls. Keep it up! :nice:

However, I'm not personally terribly interested in the oddity that is this... craft. Yeah. Anyway, I voted for it, though, because I'm in the 'sure, why not' camp on these things, as long as it's not inherently harmful to kittens.

Can I have the 45 seconds of my life back that it took me to read this thread?

Seriously. I vote for that option. :shame:

Slims00ls1z28 10/19/09 12:27 AM

Hell why not, they made one out of a Camaro. On land it would be an LS1 vs 4.6 race On sea it should be a Subie motor (what powers the camaro in the water) vs an EVO motor. :metal:

I remember in Venice (Italy) seeing an aquatic Ferrari F50 rendered in wood tooling about the Grand Canal. It actually looked pretty cool with great workmanship.

Quite obviously these aquacars are far more silly than serious, but taken as such, they are pretty cool.

Metrionix 10/19/09 05:14 PM

lol, you guys crack me up. you are like my drugless drug. anyways,... **** it! I hate it when that happens! I forgot what I was gonna say!

Metrionix 10/19/09 05:16 PM

Oh, wait I remember! I was gonna say... What's so wrong with a Mustang on water? It would sell good and people would buy it, and whoever doesn't want it doesn't have to buy it. So........ Why not?

houtex 10/19/09 09:20 PM

Well, for one, it would have to be totally reengineered, and compromise what a Mustang is about. The cost would sky rocket due to this, and the 'bang for the buck' factor would simply disappear in a big fantail of spray.

Simply put... it'll never happen, unless you do a one off for yourself. I'll wait over there... *walks to the side*

Expensive? An aquatic Mustang probably won't cost much more than a Super Snake.

mustangGT90210 10/20/09 02:26 PM

Last time I checked, $80,000 wasn't cheap, and the Super Snake had horrible bang for the buck. Man, the time's are a-changin'

Yeah, but you get a Mustang that canters on the water, a seahorse, how can you put a price on such rank awesomeness! I mean, look at all the stupid cars Ford has made without even 3% the coolness of a Mustang water horse.

Heck, I'll bet even Elvis has one, which is why you never see him driving down the street (duhhhh, how obvious when you think about it) :D

Metrionix 10/20/09 03:43 PM

:agree: Dude, thatīs it! There's the Mustnag V6, GT, Shelby GT, GT500, KR, Super Snake, and now the Seahorse! You are awesome. that was so catchy!
