Any experience with CARiD???

I need new wheels/tires for my Trans Am and CARiD has the lowest price by about $100. Any experiences with them or should I just stick with a known entity like TireRack?? Positive or negative feedback is appreciated.

I ended up going with CARiD and my experience was top notch. They shipped the tires safely in a 2 pack design and they were here within one week of ordering. I would recommend them and they are a bit cheaper than other sites. These are American Racing wheels with BFG G Force Comp 2 tires in 17".

Thanks! It is a 2001. I'm the original owner. It was difficult to part with my original chrome 16" wheels as I kept them as nice as possible. Unfortunately the bead of the tires were leaking due to bad corrosion of the aluminum on the inside of the rims. I had them 'grinded down' several times but at the end there was nothing left. Here is a side by side comparison. Chrome was still really good! Very close to 'stock' looking, which is what I like personally, plus there are way more tire choices in 17" vs 16". Here is a better look at the car with the new wheels/tires on.

Very nice. Sad that the original OEM wheels are deteriorating so badly. Always thought those OEM wheels were very nice looking. Your car looks great with the new wheels & tires. Very nice looking Trans-Am, you kept it looking new!

^^^Thanks! We all know the hours involved in keeping these cars up. My '07 GT is just 6 years younger and looking just as good.
