I love Alfas! My first ride in one was in my brother's 67 Duetto, just like the one Dustin Hoffman drove in The Graduate. I finally got a used 84 Spider and I loved that car. It had a live axle but its handling was superb, so much that the guys in Detroit bought a few to try to figure out how Alfa could do that.
Brera is nice, but I prefer the GTV and the Spider.
I'll be moving to Poland in less than 3 months. Maybe I'll pick up another Alfa over there. I'd like to find a good 67-74 GTV.
Good on Alfa for planning to return to the US. They really build cars with Italian soul and until you've driven one you'll never know how special these cars are.
