Not 2015's, but 2017's.
These are the two colors I would go with. GoMango Orange or the Go Green. Both with the black carbon stripes. Gotta have the stripes on the Hellcat, adds character. lol
If I did the GoMango, I would definitely go with the optional black 5 spoke wheels. If I did the Go Green, it would be difficult to choose between the new optional 5 spoke black wheels, OR the standard equipment wheel, which for me would be the brass monkey color with that green. Both look killer.

Want a used 2016 plum crazy? So looks like these hold value pretty well? No stripes on this one though...

Love the PCP. Cars like these I would never buy used. I don't trust the past. LOL
In all honesty, I would LOVE a Hellcat, but the thing that holds me back, (besides the fact that the new GT500 might be coming out), is that these cars are hit or miss. They have threads and a poll on Hellcat.org and the good to bad ratio of superchargers and how many people have theirs replaced to those that haven't isn't a very convincing one. It's bad actually. The bearings in the superchargers are bad.
The company that supplies the superchargers, IHI, are to blame here. BUT, if I were Dodge, I would tell them to shape up or you're out!! Going on 2 years now! **** THAT!!!
70k car and you have to bring it to the dealership to get a new supercharger?!

Car made mid 900s on Pump gas, and a little over 1000 on the customer's E85 blend. No boost changes, just tuning for different fuel. The 4.5l Whipple fits under the stock hood without changing motor mounts / etc.
Car got:
Whipple 4.5l Kit
Stainless Works Longtube Headers
Driveshaft Shop 1400hp Axles
Driveshaft Shop 1 Piece Driveshaft
Snow Methanol Injection System
Fore Fuel System
Built 8HP Transmission (8 Speed Automatic)
Weld Wheels / Beadlocks / Tires

Well,.......right after we have the 4.5l Whipple supercharger, I just got wind that Kenne Bell is manufacturing a 4.9l for the Hellcat currently. Tim Barth posted it on the Hellcat forum and he is going to be the tuning for the 4.9l Kenne Bell.
Wow.
Wow.

Absolutely unnecessary.
The 4.5L Whipple, pullied down, I'm sure can deliver way more than 1,000 hp.
But KB always has to have the bigger number, so they're coming out with that 4.9 so they can say "mine's bigger" in the d1ck-measuring contest.

The main difference besides the output liters is that the KB is liquid cooled.
Either way,........you're gonna need A LOT of money for supporting mods.

No doubt those kinds of mods require a pretty good-sized discretionary budget!
If you were building a car for the strip, it might be cheaper going with the turn-key solution, a Dodge Challenger Drag Pack. The N/A version with the 426 hemi is under 100K. The blown 354 is more--but I don't know how much more--maybe 5K? Of course no VIN means not street legal, but you wind up with an out of the box Factory Stock competitor capable of an 8.5 at 150+.

HOLY FCKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?! LOL
The new Dodge Demon does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. It does 0-100 in 5.9 seconds I think it was.
Quarter mile,..............9.65 @ 140 MPH!!!!
And, it doesn't look that bad at all. I had my doubts with the fender flares and all, but it looks pretty good. What a nasty car. I just watched the unveiling and live feed on Youtube.
Dodge just killed it. Game over. lol

And already banned from NHRA competition, so why even bother?
Oh, cuz you can do a rollcage and other things to make it legal, things which will add weight, so it's not gonna perform as well as advertised.
Yes, you can probably mod the thing for more power, but Chrysler hasn't been making it easy to tune the PCM on their cars lately, so not sure about the tune thing.
Guess time will tell.
But to advertise a drag-racing package that's not legal to actually drag-race in the spec it's sold in, that's B.S.

So, I guess you need to add a rollcage, which adds the 200lbs that it lost to begin with, or more. lol I bet there will be tuners ready to mod this car, just like they do the Hellcats. I honestly didn't think I was going to like the looks of it with the fender flares and all, but I think it looks good.
The other thing that caught my ear,......Hagerty is the ONLY insurance company you will be able to insure the Demon with. Seems like they had a good business going there as well. I'm sure other insurance companies want nothing to do with that car. lol
But I will admit, the car is beast. 0-60 and 0-100 times are very impressive as is the quarter mile time. Very impressive.
