what did you do with the car?

Automatic to manual conversion worth it?

Hi guys, I'm a recent owner of a 2008 gt c/s , unfortunately it has an automatic and it really is rather boring for what should be a sporty car. Question is, is it expensive and worth the investment on swapping in a 5 or 6 speed into this puppy? Suspension and a tune are an obvious go to as well, but the automatic is really unresponsive, especially with the 3.31 gears that came with it. From yalls experience, is it worth it?

I don't think it is worth it to swap. Time labor and cash for parts to change the trans. The tune will wake the trans up nicely. Don't waste cash on an intake as I didn't notice much of a difference between a tune and intake and just a tune. I would swap rear gears before swapping out the trans. have fun
