It's been a while but it seems like when I got a battery that was too tall I rotated it 180 degrees and the positive post cleared easily. But I also did away with the factory battery wires and put my own larger wires in. Also eventually went to a fiberglass hood that had a little more clearance too.

But it did fit under the stock hood.

Yea I had to redo my wires awhile back with new terminals and I don't thing they would fit if I did a 180. But thats a idea I'll look into.

Finally found the problem. when you install the Saleen SC you have to replace the cable from the alternator to the battery. The lug pulled out of the cable at the battery. Fixed the cable with a new end and all is well. I think.

Well the mother in law is on her death bed and the wife is driving me crazy but all else is okay.

Wife used to get those a lot. Quit drinking anything but ice water with lemon (for the most part) and hasn't had a problem since. Only drawback is we always look like cheapskates when we go out to eat lol.

My brother and sister in law only order ice water with lemon when they go out. But it actually is because they are cheapskates lol.
Just kidding if you read this bro. Everybody orders ice water and splits a dinner plate.
