Here's the pics I took, and some screen captures off the GoPro video.
Left to right, these belong to:
2012 Black 5.0 (2010 Shelby, Sterling Grey), Black Fire (2012 GT, Lava Red), Stangpilot007 (2010 GT, Kona Blue), J1000 (2012 GT, Lava Red), and Overboost (2011 GT, Kona Blue)

Thanks to everyone that made it out today. The group was smaller than I was expecting (had 10 signed up between two forums), but it worked out great. It was awesome meeting everyone, and I'm glad that you all had fun.
Keep an eye out for another fun run next spring. We've also talked about doing one the weekend of Mustang Alley and WWDC if there's enough interest.

Great photos Jay.
It was definitely an awesome time. I was out driving normally tonight and it felt so strange after this morning...haha. Steve, one more thing we need to add to the end of it next time, Deadwood Grill...
Fun Run the week of WWDC and Mustang Alley would be awesome.

Deadwood is a great idea. I wouldn't mind that at all. We might have to do some investigation and add that to the route.
We've also done a full moon run at night. Talk about wild. Conditions haven't been right again since, but if they are, we won't pass it up.

Thanks Lawrence. Great to see everybody again! My son and I both had a ton of fun today. Thanks for hosting, Steve! I'm working on cutting together a little video of the run. I'll post it in here when it's done.

Can't wait to see it. I appreciate you guys spreading the word to others on here. I think next time I'll host a Facebook event as well for local guys that may not be on a forum, but would enjoy. I don't limit it to a specific group, unless we get enough interest for a "model-specific" run. Lately though, it's usually a mix of guys who have done the run in the past.

I'm sure we could attract more on FB as you said, especially with CDC and MRT being local and on FB. Obviously not going to the point of broadcasting the route.
It might be worth posting these photos in the main 2010+ section as well along with a write up since all the cars were 2010+. It might get more attention as unfortunately not many check out this section as we know...then we can have an animated GIF battle to keep the thread going.

I can not say enough about how much fun this was. This was really my first opportunity to push my Mustang and I must say the car did not disappoint. Hell I'm not even sure if I found the cars limits at all even though I did stradle the double yellow a couple times through some tight right handers, but that's likely driver error. Lol.
Thanks for the invite Jay and thanks again to Steve for putting on this little event. Can't wait for the next time.

Did anyone notice the Raccoon still lying on the side of the road before we got back to the start point? I'm pretty sure he died smiling, I think he liked your Boss splitter Steve.
