Hood Swap
 

I have a 94 Stang... But I came across a 99 aftermarket Heat Extractor hood. The find was in a junk yard. I've seen a 99-01 hood on a 94/98 mustang before. It looked pretty good and the way the car was painted, the smoother look of the hood was needed for the design. A very nice touch. Well, just to make sure this hood would fit, I took it over to a couple of 94-98 mustangs and the fitment was perfect. It even latched in the same place and the back corners of the hood in perfect alinement. Because I knew it would fit, I bought it. Once I got it home, it bolted right up onto my car. BUT THE HOOD WONT CLOSE!! I'm not sure exactly where it was catching, it could be the structure under and toward the windshield, but I can't tell. Have any of you done this swap? Do any of you know how I can make this work?
