Tornado took everything

The tornado took my house that we have been living in for 21 years and totalled all 4 of my vehicles including the vert mustang in my avatar.

We, my wife, 4 dogs and a cat, were all in the house when the tornado came thru. We are lucky to be alive since it destroyed all but 2 rooms in the house. We were lucky to be in one of those rooms and we all survived.

We are getting a lot of help from friends and family and the Oklahoma spirit has been wonderful.

I still have a Mustang on order and hopefully that will come soon.

We are trying to be positive but there are times when we are weak and tired and can't hold back the tears.

My computer access is limited so if you ask me a question I may not get time or access to reply fast. I'll try to get on when things slow down.

Take care all

Our prayers are with you. Hang tough you will get through it. Folks there are many like this fellow that lost more than just everything. I donated through work to help people like this. I am sure we all could find a little extra to help out everyone who needs it over in that area.

Sorry to see this man! Hope things get better in OK....I feel your pain, many lost everything here in Granbury, TX too, and we sadly aren't going to be receiving any federal aid.

Stay strong.

Alabama is no stranger either to Mother Nature's wrath. As said above, Stay Strong. We are all One Community, and the Human Spirit can be tested and tried, but never broken. Your Communities will rebuild and flourish again. You are not alone, although at times I'm sure you feel it. As we fellow Americans dig a little to help, hopefully our reigning powers will with some haste free up Federal Funding to give you folks currently in need somewhat of a head start. Thoughts and Prayers abound to you, your family, your neighbors, and your sister community also ravaged.

UPDATE:

My ordered car never came in time before I needed a new car. I got the Race red one off the lot with 3 miles. I love it!

After 6 weeks of basically being homeless we closed on a house on June 28.

Since we lost everything we have we had to go out and buy everything we need new.

There are 2 things I'm happy I have. My new Mustang and my new bed.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Things are looking up.

Good to hear you are recovering. I was just a few blocks North of where it hit, minor damage to roof of house and my 2006 Stang.

BTW, if you are interested in hanging out with other Mustang owners in the area PM me, I'm with WickedStangs OKC.
