No sound clip here but I'm sure that if I rev it real good you can probably hear it in owasso. Honestly real easy install, no real drone to speak of, not bad at all on the highway, with the radio on you can't really tell that its there until you go full throttle. Jeff have you gotten your new tunes yet from Brenspeed? I still have not received mine. I didn't get a MIL though so I guess its ok for now. I will say that its gonna smoke a bit right after initial start up and it stinks for a couple days after that. Burning off the mandrell bending fluid on the inside of the pipe I guess.

I guess I'm dropping off mine at BHF tomorrow for the gears.
Fri. for the picture shoot I'll have to see. It all depends on how bad I'm getting slaughtered at work. If for some reason it dosen't work out how do you guys look for Sunday? Also looks as if there is a chance of rain on Fri and Sat.

Any of those days work for me. I can do it Sunday after 12noon.

He can only do the gears at night so try to drop it off around five so he has enough time to get them done by the morning.
#1148
Benji also said he would do my driveshaft install if I want him to. I am strongly considering it. Depends on the cost.

No tunes from Brenspeed. I emailed them this morning and still no answer as of 606pm.

I'm good for Fri or Sunday, Just let big daddy know.
Any trumpeting guys? I heard a lot of complaints about that...
David- The smoke is Gods way of telling you to stop killing his coral....
Ok... it's the oil used in the manufacturing process.

Jeff... You're missing a great opportunity here. By doing the work yourself, you not only save money, but also have an excuse to buy new tools. How do you think I got all my tools. My wife just didn't buy them for me!

Dude, I read the install procedure and while it seems somewhat easy I really don't want to have to be on my back for the driveshaft since you have to spin the rear wheels while off the ground to get to all the bolts. Also, since I am installing a double adjustable upper control arm, I don't want to have to mess with the pinion angle. I won't be able to build my collection with the driveshaft because regular tools which I already have are needed. I haven't made any decision on the driveshaft, yet. I like the fact he has a lift. Maybe we could do my driveshaft as a tech day at BHF and use their lift...
#1153
Jeff do you have your shaft already? I would guess the charge for ds install should be minimal. With air tools and a lift this is a 10 minute job. Perhaps an aditional 20 mins for the upper c.a. so 30 mins alltogether. Perhaps faster than that.

So do you guys like the new face of my ride? better pic on the web site.

Bob how did you go about installing the running pony tri-bar in the grill? I used a 68 shelby grill emblem and JB Welded a bolt to the back and used a large washer and some 3m foam from a blackmagic electric fan install kit to keep it from vibrating also double nutted and lockwasher. It's solid baby! I couldn't find a stock setup so I did the DIY version. Looks good though. I prefer doing things myself anyway so I know there done right!

Zesy / Chris I think that we are planning to start up again for BYB (Back yard burgers) this coming Tuesday night and then every tuesday night after that. BYB @ 71st and mingo in front of Sams club. 6:00-? Hope we see you there! We will also be doing a drag race night soon at Tulsa Raceway Park. If you haven't gotten a baseline run in yet for your car this will be great fun! Do you have any mod's yet?

I got my tunes!
Smoothed things out quite a bit. There was a slight void type sound at around 2300 revs now its pretty much gone. I think it seems like at around the 2300 rpm mark is when the second set of intake valves seem to really start gulping air. The thing is a real beast now! I took co-worker for a ride and it was pulling so hard. I hate that I can't get it to the track before the gears. As I am sure that it would run in the 12 sec range. I figure after the gears with traction I will be running in the low 12.8's high 12.7's.

Doooode... Working on your own car should be a joy. Not a chore. Even if it's on your back. I just like doing my own work when I can. The more I do myself, the more I learn and the more tools I can buy! Also I can say, "I did it myself" and know it's done right. Listen to me... I'm arguing with a lawyer!
David- Love the grill man. Looks great.
Zesy... As president and janitor of the club, it's my job to start *poo* with the rest of the club members. I take my job seriously as you can tell!

David. I think you're right. We get a good cool and dry night. We're in (all of us) in the 12's. Not bad for some basic bolt ons. Street respectable anyways.
I came close with the 13.2 the last time. If I had the UPDs... 12.9 baby!
