With my ride being so beautiful, shinny, bright, polished, glossy and sunny I was just wondering if I may need to hire some models to pose with my car ?

Dave-
If I were you I would do the gears and the LCAs. This is based upon my knowledge of what you plan to do with the car, drag race. If you don't mind the loss of some horses due to the gears go for it. I say this since I heard that gears will sap some horses on the dyno. It's a trade off for quicker acceleration I guess. I am not ready to jump to 4:10s. Have thought about 3:73s though. The LCAs will help with the wheel hop.
If you have any money left buy some drag radials. I am planning on doing this before Mid America. I have 1 extra Bullitt rim and will buy another soon. Then I just have to buy the drag radials.
Everyone-
Which drag radial should Dave and Paul and I buy? Any ideas? I think maybe the BF Goodrich ones?????

Congrats Jeff.. Wow that's two GT member in one day.
From what I'm hearing about gears... most people have said that gas mileage and driveability really wasn't effected much by going to 4:10s. The people that switched to 3:73 said they didn't feel much of a dif over the stock 3:55 and should of went with 4:10s. Not sure what I'm going to do yet...
LCA are a good bet. So are BFG drag radials. Summitt also has drag wheel (their own brand) that look a lot like Weld Drag Stars for a decent price.

I will try to look around and see if I can find you guys some reasonably priced slicks..
Got an automatic so not looking for gears as yet..but from what I have read on stick shifts and gears Pauls above statement hit it on the head..I think that the majority of the folks on The Mustang Source have found the only real improvement is to go with 4:10s.
You might want to check some of the more technical Mustang sites to see what they have to say.
I would think you guys would have more fun and better times at the track if you did something on the rear axle, sticky tires and gears before you go after more horses.
Snow......maybe snow on the way.

Was driving down Mingo today and passed Will's, his new orange Shelby was parked out front.

It was real from a distance - rear end 4 feet in the air - he has had a blue one on order for a long time and then changed to the orange..
Maybe Paul or David could go scope it out.

Bob funny you should mention models. I know this chick that used to dance at night trips that said she would do some bikini shots if the dough was right. Perhaps this would make a great opening shot on the web page?
Jeff I agree with the idea of the gears and lca's I have all but made up my mind on this but I still need to find someone or someplace that can install them correctly for a reasonable amount of greenbacks.
Where is this orange-wtf-perhaps replica shelby located?

I think with the CIA tunes and 410 gears 12's should be no problemo. But with the extra windup a set of drag radials will be in order. I also agree with the before the Mid America this is on the priority for the budget before June.
