Win a Supercharger at the MCA 30th Anniversary Stampede!
Vortech/Paxton will be giving away a supercharger at next weekend's MCA 30th Anniversary! Just stop by the Vortech/Paxton sponsor tent on Friday or Saturday and fill out an entry form. The winner will be announced at the Saturday night banquet.
The winner will receive the choice of any Vortech or Paxton system up to a retail value of $4995.00. This would be any standard output, satin finish system for Mustangs through 2006.

Since you have a convertible as well, I'm guessing that puts you in run group D (beginner) which has the 80 MPH speed limit?
That is the one that I will be in. At first I considered a rushed roll bar and restraint install, but to tell you the truth, 80 MPH is more than fast enough for the fun parts... the turns. Plus we get to carry passengers which the advanced groups do not.
I drove the track for the first time at the end of July in my go-kart at the Grand-Am race. I had been to the track several times before to watch races, but on my first practice session I was completely lost. It is more complicated to remember that it first appears. I had it down by the middle of my second practice session.
I'm eager to see how much different it looks when sitting up higher. In a kart, you can't see the apex of the corkscrew. You have to find something else to use as a reference, or just guess.
I'm hoping that there aren't too many cars in the run group.

I use to autocross and open track my last two Cobras alot. The '99 was setup perfect and handled like a dream, it had the entire Maximum Motorsports catalog thrown at it I should've never sold it to buy the 03.
I have about a 6 hour drive so I'll be there Friday evening ~1pm-3pm but will not be driving on track.
