Hello fellow stangers me and my wife will be in the Tampa Bay area on June 4th and was wondering if anyone would be interested in a possible meet to swap stories and get some pictures of our stangs together. I live in Citrus County and there are a few mustang fans that would like to join us.

Whatcha got in mind? I'm in Plant City, about 40min east of downtown. I'm game!

me and my wife are heading to Tampa for the Bucs Fan Fest and it ends at 2pm. We really want to meet up with some fellow stangers. I was trying to see if there are any local car shows going on in Tampa that we could invade. I see a few stang clubs around there but they only meet like once a month on mondays etc. I have around 3 stang friends in my area that are willing to meet as well the only thing is they dont have 05s which I thought would be kinda cool anyways get some stangs together. If anyone has any ideas toss em out there so we can get something together

They do have a few smaller get togethers around here on fri and sat nights sometimes. Some are at the Burger Kings and such. There used to be one about a mile from my house in the Target/ BK p-lot. Haven't seen it in a while though. They seem to move around a bunch. Is your Bucs Fest at the stadium? If so, There is the old mall right next to it with a huge parking lot. Or, the Courtney Campbel Causway with its bayside and some beach areas, is only a few minutes from the staduim.
Just some ideas.

Fan fest is at the stadium. Was hoping to get a few more ppl onboard and toss some ideas out for this. I live in Citrus County which is about an hour or so from Tampa. If maybe we could all meet in one area then we can go from there. I like the idea Jeff of the Courtney Campbel Causway

I think Ronnie Setzer's show is at the corner of Sheldon Rd and Linebaugh Ave. I haven't been to one of his shows in a long time, but it would be cool to have a line of 05's go. Or the beach thing sounds good too :D

Well to anyone interested I did find the Ronnie Setser car show. They hold it on Saturdays and pick the "Baddest ride" on the first Saturday.

it also looks like a $5 registration fee.

I won't be able to make anything that late, I have to work at 8.

Hey guys,
Back after a long weekend. I still haven't got my car yet, hoping for today or tomorrow. If everybody wanted to meet up earlier, after the fan fest, but before the Setzer deal, I would suggest the grassy area on the opposite side of the road from the boat ramp on the causeway. Very easy to find. Plenty of area to park and hang out, easy access, and our group of '05s would be visable to a lot of people driving by. If you try to do it at the beach area on the east end of the causeway, you have to pay to park, that is if there are any spaces available! If you want to be able to drive and park on the sand beach itself, this can be done on the west end of the causeway, but again you have to pay, like $10 to park and on a sat afternoon it is crowded with people and jetskiers. I drive past this spot every day on my way to work in Clearwater and I would like to take some shots of my car there to get the water and downtown Tampa in the background. Sheldon and Linebaugh is less than 10 minutes from there via the Veterans Expressway and it is probably around 15 minutes from the stadium, if that.

sounds perfect Jeff. Sounds like a good place to meet up (grassy area by the causeway). You may need to give me directions as I am not to familiar with that area , but would love to meet up. Hopefully the weather will be nice to us.
