Since I last posted I hit a 13.60 on the juice, but then pulled the nitrous and put the Xcharger supercharger on the car. I'm running a mail order tune right now so there is a lot left to get out of the car; it was pulling hard still when it hit the rev limiter and runs a flat 10.0 on the AFR at WOT. Either a meth kit or the intercooler (when it is available) will go on and then Lidio will dyno tune it.

All runs from same dyno.

Runfile002 (Blue) = C&L Racer, FRPP GTAs, Arizona Dyno Chip Baseline Tune
Runfile023 (Red) = C&L Racer, FRPP Stingers, No change to tune.
Runfile029 (Green) = C&L Racer, FRPP Stingers, ADC tune tweaks.

Just had her Dyno tuned Friday over at Tillman Speed. We had some belt slip issues, but she still managed to lay down 466whp & 445trq (SAE). Boost was all over the place.. especially in the upper rpm range.. Guess I need a new belt and an HD tensioner.



I'll post up the sheets as soon as CR gets them to me.

Mustang Dyno. 453 rwhp. I've added Kooks w/cat'd x, coast DS, 8 rib conversion,Thumper RRR Tensioner & idlers, and Reichard Racing 3.41 pulley. I have to get back to the dyno.

Hey, Harold, nice meeting you at the Horsepower Ranch for the CCCA dyno challenge on 10/23. I had the other Alloy Gray GT there (with the Vortech V2 blower and V6 grill).

I ended up putting down 393 rwhp and 310 rwtq. The torque # always shows low on my car due to the really big stall converter (4800 rpm's). I would have loved to have seen 400+ rwhp for my car, but Mustang Dyno's are notoriously stingy. The week before we met at the dyno, I was drag racing at Pacific Raceways in Kent. I got three runs in: 11.79, 11.85, and a 12.01. All in the 113-114 mph range.

Hey Brian! What fun that day was. I have a couple videos of my dyno run and simulated 1/4 runs...and I believe you make a cameo in a couple http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64N_L...eature=related
Might end up getting some Kooks long tubes and FRPP cams...I think it was Marc who told me he picked up about 44HP with those...dunno if that was before the blower or not? Looking forward to take it out to Bremerton next year for some real 1/4 mile runs.

Yep, that was me making a quick cameo in your 1/4 mile run #2 simulation. Long tubes & cams are good for about 30-40 hp N/A, and even more with a blower. Deep breathing is worth big horsepower on our cars, as evidenced by Marc S's GT and Bruch H's GT/CS. My car has stock cams & exhaust and I'm down about 150 rwhp vs those two guys!

I'll be at Bremerton frequently again this coming year. I made a few key changes at the very end of last season that got the car into the 11.7's and 11.8's on my last track day. Now I hope to fine tune that a bit and inch down to the 11.50's this season. I suspect you'll be working you way down through the high 12's and lower as time/mods allow.

Finally got around to getting the car dyno'd and tuned after my exhaust work. I don't have a scanner to scan the dyno sheet, so you'll have to take me at my word but with the following mods...

2.3L Whipple Supercharger (8 psi), GT500 Fuel Pump, 32lb Injectors, BBK Long Tubes, BBK Catted X-Pipe, Ford Racing Axle-Back Kit and 3.73 gears, I was making 437rwhp/389fptq The car averaged between 405-410, but one pull was 437, so I'm going with 437, lol. Here's a little video...
