My dealer said as of 1/4/05 it is clean and unscheduled, if i ordered with IUP, is it normal or should it have some type of hold?

holderca1 1/6/05 12:01 PM

It means that your order is waiting to be scheduled and that there is currently no holds on the order.

great info , thank you. BTW how often is info like that updated?

Altoid 1/6/05 12:47 PM

Ford updates ever thursday so it's best to check on fridays with your dealership. I think it only updates though if there is an update to mention.

Like in my case my care is set to be build week of jan 24th as of 12/09. I would like it to update but I assume since there is nothing more to add why update it. Or maybe because of the shutdown my order will update as of 1/6 sometime today or tomorrow.

Actually, Ford pulls orders every Thursday night, but your status can change any day.

thank you for all the info guys.... does anyone have a guess when i might see my car if i ordered 11/26?
better yet is there anyway of knowing what my dealers allocation is so i can know if they can even get any cars in soon?

I stand corrected. But my question still remains will my status not change until the car is built? It would be nice if the message changed to reflect the current date. It’s almost a month since its changed [12/09]. I have no problem if it doesn’t I fully believe it will be built that week. I’m just wondering if I can expect it to change before the week of Jan 24th.

I asked a similar question and I was told other then out right asking them there is no way of knowing their allocations.

Karpro 1/6/05 01:22 PM

The status date will stay the same until the status actually changes if that makes sense. As far as allocations, you are correct that only your dealer can provide that info.

Mine was clean/unsched for almost two Months. Then it was on compat hold. Now it is back to clean/unsched. So it can change and nothing really happens with order. :notnice:

I called and got as of 12/31 clean and unscheduled, then I called on Tuesday and it said as of 1/3, clean and unscheduled. Gonna call tomorrow and probably get told the same thing. B)

Makes sense to me just wanted to double check it. Thanks for confirming it.

Oct. How about mid sept. and don't have s---. Was told 2-weeks ago by dealer my car is scheduled to be built week of 1-24 but didnot have a vin#. So as I see it I still don't have s---.

porkster 1/7/05 05:57 AM

Mine has been saying "As of Jan 6, Scheduled to be built week of Jan 3" , it has been saying that for two weeks. I called this morning, and it still says the same thing. I was hoping to hear it say I have an ETA, or Bucked or something... What is the next status I should hear? Shouldnt it be updated today since this is the week of Jan 3?

Thanks

The next change you will see (or hope to see at least, you could always go into a matl hold), but you want to see that your order was bucked, meaning they have started production of your order.
