What a cool car on Hemmings
I don't remember this edition Mustang at all. Very cool but with a crazy asking price, even though it is basically 'new'.

I Was Not Looking For This But Was Curious At Rear Badge Style Due To My Badge Work! Looks Like Chrome Overlay With {I} & Blacked Out Keyhole on Oem Badge I Doubt I Will Ever Come Across One of These! Did Track One Down Years Ago For a Barrett Jackson Edition For a Member! I remember these too. Only have seen in pictures. Very Rare and spendy... Great looking 2009 S197. Not that they all weren't great looking.

In my honest opinion, the Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition should've been the factory body style for the S-197 produced by Ford... I really love how well the full fastback roofline looks far more aggressive and appealing over the factory S-197...

I agrees the fastback is similar to the 67/68 fastback. I also think the nose is a closer look to the 67-69. Look a lot meaner. |

I took these pictures 11-1-2003. Wish the front end and the taillights had made it to production, that would have been really cool! |
Loved the prototype! Wish that car had made it to production, but they did get close. Loved the hood, glass top (Which I had to have), and the frontend. Color was great on that one too! (Looks like tungsten metallic gray). Very nice :nice:
