In my honest opinion, the Iacocca 45th Anniversary Edition should've been the factory body style for the S-197 produced by Ford... I really love how well the full fastback roofline looks far more aggressive and appealing over the factory S-197...

I agrees the fastback is similar to the 67/68 fastback. I also think the nose is a closer look to the 67-69. Look a lot meaner.

Exactly! It's so similar to the 67/68 fastbacks, which are my favorite Mustangs of all time... I also agree that the nose appears much closer with the 67-69, which does look a lot meaner, Steve.

Reminds me of the prototype version of the S197 that was shown at the International Auto Show in Anaheim. I took these pictures 11-1-2003. Wish the front end and the taillights had made it to production, that would have been really cool!
Loved the prototype! Wish that car had made it to production, but they did get close. Loved the hood, glass top (Which I had to have), and the frontend. Color was great on that one too! (Looks like tungsten metallic gray). Very nice

Wish the prototype version had made it to production as well... Although, I liked the Iacocca 2009 45th anniversary edition just a bit more over the prototype version, but both versions were absolutely stunning, nevertheless.
